Sad

This morning I found Schloppy, one of our four Giant African Land Snails, dead in the tank with his/her brothers/sisters. This has made me very sad as I was looking forward to spending my first married Christmas with a full compliment of family this year. We have yet to determine the cause of death and hope that it isn't contagious/parasitic. I am deeply sorrowed by this sudden event, but am putting on a brave face.

Schloppy was a quiet, but feisty snail, who enjoyed his/her food and could be quite playful at bathtime.

We'll all miss him/her.
