Vector

It would appear my Gorilla pic has been an inspiration to others. The British born artist Tom Deacon sent me a very polite email which read as follows:

Hi Nicholas,

I wanted to let you know that I was so impressed with your award winning "Tiff" photo... that I turned it into a vector based illustration...

Your original photo actually made it into the newspaper here in Brisbane, Australia several days ago. And since then I've noticed that it has appeared in several other places as well.

Congratulations on your success and I hope that you're cool with me posting my artistic interpretation of your photo. Of course I have given you credit for the original photograph.

I look forward to seeing more of your fantastic photos in the future.

It was a bit naughty of Tom to use my image without permission, but at least he was kind and honest enough to let me know... And I quite like what he's done with it.
