Sometimes I like the delay between the analogue TV in the kitchen and the digital TV in the front room, if for example you are watching something engaging in the former you have time to walk to the front of the house and pick up where you left off. Nice.
Unfortunately, most of the time it annoys me. If for example, I am watching an England penalty in the front room and Kary is watching it in the kitchen whilst preparing the week's baby food. The cheer from the back of the house preceeding my penalty being taken kind of ruins the moment a little.
The thing that annoys me the most though, is the sound. The repetitive noise and dialogue which echoes from one telly to the other. Having to hear the same soap dialogue repeated across the house, the same gameshow laughter, the same panelshow punchlines.
Yet worse still, and I realise this is not a analogue/digital problem, but the natural laws of physics, is sitting in an open office and having to listen to the test cricket from two separate radios 10 metres apart... It's like listening to the longest platform announcement in history...
