Well, it would appear that today, 8th March, is International Women's Day... How totally and utterly PC that there should be an internationally recognised day for women... (Hoorah!) It seems Men, however, not only get 19th November as International Men's Day, but they also get the whole month of June to discuss their issues. Can't say fairer than that really, women discuss their problems every day, whereas men do tend to bottle them up. Must be nice for them to know that they have a whole 30 days to let it all out... The problem being only the female counterpart is recognised suffiociently enough to be marked globally on calendars, whereas the male festivity remains unnoticed and unregistered... And what are mankind doing about it? The same thing we always do... Nothing... Well, maybe grumbling quietly to ourselves in the privacy of our allotted potting sheds...

"Thank you for subscribing to Quoteland’s quote of the day. The response has been overwhelming, literally. Due to the incredible popularity of our free quote of the day service, we have maxed out our server’s capacity. We are working to correct this issue. Until we get it fixed, we have to switch everyone over to the quote of the week. We will resume sending you the quote of the day as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you continue enjoying our free service. Learning by experience often is painful- and the more it hurts, the more you learn."

Which perhaps isn't quite right...

... It's Internaltional Women's Day, NOT International Goat's Day. (By the way, what are your favourite flavoured socks?!)
... What colour are they?!
... Yummy! (My mum likes Dairylea & Marmite sandwiches, but doesn't eat them anymore... They've been superceeded by cheese & onion sarnies...) As far as I know she doesn't own any pop-socks though...
