Dayspring

I was cynical at first; 'what was the point, you'd spend more on components than on pre-produced produce!' But now, having been a co-user of a shiny new Breadmaker for several days, I can finally see the attraction. I walked into the house yesterday evening after a hard day at work and was greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread, for the Goat had put some on timer so its completion would coincide with my return home, and I had to stop and smell the air for several minutes before I left the room.

Now, as I sit here on my lunch-45-minutes I am devouring the loaf from last evening and look forward to experimenting with adding different things to the bread mix, such as chocolate chips and Marmite (but not at the same time). I havee been warned against adding Sour Jelly Sweets as they would melt and probably ruin the new toy. Mr Cadbury's Parrot's Mini Eggs should be alright tho', eh?!
