In all our excitement of making bread it would appear that Goat and I are neglecting the basics... i.e. reading and sticking to the recipe... This would explain the interesting tops our loaves has been sporting recently, like Boris Johnson on a particularly windy day when his hair is being unreasonably unruly. From a bird's eye point of view the last couple of loaves looked like special effects from Basket Case, or one of it's sequels, but fortunately tasted delicious! And when you've cut a loaf into slices for sandwiches and filled them with all sorts of delightful combinations, such as cheese and Marmite, who cares what it looked like anyway?!
*quietly worships Bo-Jo as a prime example of why you shouldn't take yourself too seriously, especially when you're a politician
